Accounting and Finance Internship Opportunity

Are you a numbers person at heart? Do you want to use your superior analytical and financial skills to do good for Rural America? We are looking for two Accounting & Finance interns! Work will be for a complex operation with business locations in no less than five different states, and operating no less than five distinctly different programs.

The internship can be structured around the selected individual’s school schedule, and can be up to 40 hours per week on a temporary basis. This will be a paid internship, and duties will parallel that of an entry level staff accountant position. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, and has the potential to lead to further employment for the right candidate.

Duties will include: Grant Accounting, General Ledger, Loan Accounting, Data Entry, Bank Reconcilement, Accounts Receivable/ Payable, Depreciation, Cost Accounting, and other duties assigned. If you know what all of these things are, this might be a fantastic job for you!

Applicants must have completed no less than two years of accounting courses aimed toward an accounting bachelor’s degree, with preference granted to those nearing completion of degree. May graduates are encouraged to apply.
